I was very honoured to have been a tiny part of Tracy and Glynn’s big day. Tracy suffers from an incurable disease which has left her paralysed from her neck down on four occasions. Tracy had a big fight on her hands to learn to walk again so she could walk down the aisle on her wedding day and dance her first dance as husband and wife. Their first dance song was “Thinking out loud” by Ed Sheeran whose words were very fitting with what Tracy was going through – ” When your legs don’t work like they used to before and I can’t sweep you off of your feet.” Tracy originally contacted Ed Sheeran’s management company asking for some signed song lyrics as a gift for her husband to be, unfortunately they declined. It was then that Tracy’s friends got together and started an online facebook and twitter campaign trying to get Ed’s attention! ‪#‎singfortracyh‬ was everywhere! Soon the local press and news got involved and it went nationwide! Lots of wonderful people helped Tracy and Glynn have the magical day they both deserved. The best news is that Tracy walked down the aisle and had her first dance! There was also a small appearance from someone you may recognise! Congratulations Tracy and Glynn, never stop fighting! x
